What do you call your passion project?

What’s the difference between a job and a side-hustle? I think traditionally the side hustle is something you do in addition to a full-time job. But what if you have a part-time job and a side hustle? What if the side-hustle is your true passion and the capital J JOB is just how you get health insurance.
My feeling is you get to describe yourself however you want to.
“I wait tables but I’m really an actor”
“Teaching pays the bills (almost) but my dream is to compose operas”
“I’m working retail during the week and my band gigs on weekends”
I’m not sure anyone goes to cocktail parties anymore–your mileage may vary on that–but what do you say when someone asks “What do you do?”
I think it could be many things. It could be a passion, or it could be the thing that pays the bills. I think the most common, at least with the people I know, are people that have a traditional job or even just a stay-at-home parent, but they have either a hobby or passion as a way to make a little extra money doing something they love.
I'm partially retired, work in real estate, but in the spring time, I umpire Little League Baseball.
I say, "I am a comedian, and my side hustle is working at a post office in a remote community."
I have this thing where I get annoyed at being identified by one part of my life. I don't go to cocktail parties, but we have plenty of potlucks around here and sometimes I show up and people call me by my job title instead of my name and I correct them.
Though, if I entered the room and they said "HEY! Its the comedian!" I might wait a few minutes before saying, "Well...I do other things too"
I forget that I also like photography-especially landscapes, pets and wild animals when I get the safe opportunity.
